Open to competitors 15 and under 21 years as at 1 Sept 2025. As per the Terms of the Peacocke Dance Trust – entrants are to be NZ citizens or permanent NZ resident.
The winner of this Award (or former ACDS Ballet Awards) will not be eligible to compete in future Peacocke Dance Trust Ballet Awards. A minimum of 10 entries is required to hold the Award.

Females – black/navy exam leotard, no skirt Males – routine exam wear
**Competitors must dance in their age group Pointe class to be eligible for this Award.**
Competitors will be required to perform two Classical Variations.
One Variation MUST be from List A.
The Second Variation is to be from any Classical Ballet which MAY or MAY NOT be from List
A, and must contrast stylistically from the variation chosen from List A.

Finalists will be selected from their performances in both the First round and the technical class run by the adjudicator and announced on Friday 3rd October 2025. Finalists will dance their two Variations again in the Finals on Saturday evening, 4th October 2025.
At the conclusion of the Finals, photos will be taken for ACDS social media. 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters are required to submit a letter of acknowledgement to the Peacocke Dance Trust regarding their future plans. This letter is to be emailed to aucklandcales@gmail.com no later than two weeks after the finals.
